Deep Sea Research Center
At the very bottom-left corner of the world map, there is a Deep Sea Research Center where you can get Bahamut GF, Eden GF and fight the Ultima Weapon.
Easy AP
Go to Cactaur Island and earn 20 AP for each Cactaur that is defeated in battle. Cactaur Island is a small island, covered in desert, where you can also obtain the Jumbo Cactuar GF.
Free Potions in Timber
With Rinoa in the Party, go to the bridge where the trains pass underneath. Keep going to this location until a man appears, talk to him twice and he will give you a potion. Now, every time you return here, if the man is here he will give you more potions. Repeat as required.
Meet Seifer, Raijin, Fujin and Zell before SeeD Exam
After bumping into Selphie at the very beginning of the game, go to the cafeteria. Seifer, Raijin and Fujin will be there. Talk to them and there will be a short conversation sequence.
No Random Battles
Use the magical lamp to begin a battle with Diablos. Defeat Diablos and you will acquire him as a guardian force. Next, make Diablos learn the 'No Encounter' ability, then use this ability. Alternatively, on the world map, if you always walk on roads, train tracks, or use a car, you will not have any random battles.
